Viterra picks up US pulse firm to sell into Middle East/Asia

CANADIAN grain handler Viterra has said one of its subsidiaries has acquired a US pea and lentil seller to better serve demand from the Middle East and Asia.
It bought Premier Pulses International of Lewiston, Idaho, which owns a cleaning and processing factory in North Dakota and a warehouse for bagging/shipping the products.
