Global trading firms eye Gavilon
GLOBAL trading firms including Glencore, Wilmar, Mitsui and Bunge have expressed interest in the possible sale of US energy and grains trader Gavilon, according to a source familiar with the matter. Bids are due soon for the potential sale, which could be worth up to $5bn, the source said. Canadian grain handling firm Viterra could also be interested.
