Sinograin details stockpiles
CHINESE state stockpiler Sinograin bought 24.87m tonnes of grains and edible oils for reserves last year. This included 11.8m tonnes of maize, 6.54m tonnes of unmilled rice, 3.37m tonnes of rapeseed and 2.94m tonnes of soyabeans. It also sold 33.63m tonnes of grains and edible oils to “balance market demand and supply” and “safeguard the interests of farmers”.
