SANCO's focus on public health questioned with no Commissioner present for food debate

DG SANCO should deliver on food labelling for the most vulnerable in society and get the support for health policies from other Directorates in the European Commission, such as trade, industry and agriculture. This was the message from Monika Kosinka, secretary general of the European Public Health Alliance, last week in her opening stakeholder statement to Health Commissioner Androulla Vasilliou at the tenth Anniversary Seminar.
