CRUNCH Pak, a US producer of ready-to-eat fresh sliced apples, has launched new snack items for children and adults at the recent United Fresh 2012 exhibition.
For adults, Crunch Pak has a line of low-calorie single-serve produce snack items called Dipperz, available in four iterations: sweet or tart apples with caramel dip, sweet apples with chocolate dip and baby peeled carrots with ranch dip. Each DipperZ snack item contains 80 calories or less and the average retail price is USD0.99-USD1.29, depending on the market. Dipperz were named best new product at the National Convenience Show.
