Mumias aims to acquire Nzoia Sugar

Kenya's largest sugar producer Mumias Sugar aims to acquire its debt ridden rival Nzoia Sugar Company when the state-run miller is being privatised, local press reports said.
The company has already written to the Privatisation Commission seeking approval.
