USDA proposes organic use of tetracycline, formic acid and attapulgite
Tuesday November 15 2011
USDA's National Organic Program on Nov. 8 proposed allowing the use in organic agriculture of tetracycline, formic acid and attapulgite.
The proposals, published in the Federal Register, reflect the recommendations of the National Organic Standards Board (NOSB), an independent body that advises USDA on organic policy matters, including the National List of Allowed and Prohibited Substances.
