Silverglade to leave CSPI for Olsson Frank Weeda

The Center for Science in the Public Interest yesterday announced the impending defection of one of its most high-profile leaders to one of the food industry's largest law firms. Bruce Silverglade, CSPI's director of legal affairs, is leaving the consumer advocacy group he joined in 1981 to become a partner at Olsson Frank Weeda Terman Bode Matz PC.
Silverglade, who joined CSPI after previously working just three years as an attorney at the FTC, kept busy during his nearly 29-year tenure.
