French wheat growers plant more soft wheat in 2010

FRANCE'S farm ministry raised on Friday its estimate for the area sown with soft wheat ahead of the 2010 harvest to put it nearly 4% above last year's levels.
The soft wheat area is now seen at 4.92m hectares, up from 4.89m in its previous forecast in December and 3.7% more than in 2009.
