Eleven orange juice samples found positive for carbendazim, FDA says
In the few weeks since FDA began collecting and sampling imported oranges and orange juice products, 11 of 80 samples have tested positive for carbendazim, a fungicide not approved for use in the U.S., FDA announced today (www.fda.gov/Food/FoodSafety/Product-SpecificInformation/FruitsVegetablesJuices/ucm287783.htm).
