World Biofuels 2007 featured expert speakers from the ethanol and biodiesel industry who analysed the major issues facing the biofuels industry around the world.
Presentations covered the prospects for the bioethanol production and consumption in Europe, Brazil and the USA and the biodiesel market in Europe. With tight feedstock markets and the food vs fuel debate so high on the industry’s agenda, speakers provided in depth assessments of these issues and the development of feedstocks for 2nd generation biofuels.
Panels on the specific issues surrounding the financing of biofuels companies, including presentations from representatives of Rabobank, Morgan Stanley, Credit Suisse and Societe Generale, completed a comprehensive update on the outlook for the biofuels industry.
