Agra Informa’s 3rd Annual Commodity Trade Finance Conference gave a comprehensive guide to finance structures for agricultural commodity trade in emerging markets.

Sessions analysed worldwide trade patterns and opportunities opening up in the key markets of China, India, Brazil, Latin America and Central Asia. Specific attention was given to the impact of biofuels on trade finance looking at biofuel trade and the world market for grain and oilseeds.
Experts shared their perspective on how to effectively manage the risk inherent in trading with developing nations, focusing on innovative financing approaches, collateral management, the legal issues relating to structured trade finance and the impact of Basel II.
